Plan of Salvation

A message of Hope for You

Life is uncertain. We don’t know what tomorrow will bring, and none of us can escape the reality of death. But the good news is this: God has shown his love to you at Calvary and has provided the way for you to have forgiveness, peace, and eternal life through His Son, Jesus Christ who died on the Cross, was buried and resurrected the third day.

The Bible makes it clear—we are all sinners, but God has already done everything necessary to save us through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The question is, will you receive His gift of salvation?

Life Is Short and Death is Certain

“Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” (Proverbs 27:1)
“For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” (James 4:14)
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” (Hebrews 9:27)

We all will stand before God one day. The question is—are you ready?

All Have Sinned
“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10)
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
“For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.” (Ecclesiastes 7:20)
“If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” (1 John 1:10)

Every person, no matter how good they think they are, is a sinner before a holy God.
The Consequence of Sin

“For the wages of sin is death...” (Romans 6:23)
“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:14-15)

Sin earns death and eternal separation from God. This is our greatest problem.

The Good News: Christ came to Save Sinners

“This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners...” (1 Timothy 1:15)
“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” (Luke 19:10)
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

God loves us so much that He provided the way of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.

The Gospel Itself

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

This is the Gospel: the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
He paid the penalty for our sin, He was buried, and He rose again the Third Day according to the scriptures.

How To Be Saved

The Philippian jailer once asked Paul and Silas, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
“And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved...” (Acts 16:30-31)

Salvation is not by works, church membership, or good deeds. It is only by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross of Calvary

Will You Trust Christ Today?

Life is short, judgment is certain, and eternity is forever. The good news is that Jesus Christ has already done everything necessary to save you. All that remains is for you to believe.
