About Bible Baptist Church

We are a Bible-believing church in the village of Ferndown in Dorset, on the South Coast of England, and at the Larkhall URC Hall in Bath, Somerset (we are not part of the URC).

Ferndown, Dorset

We open for Bible study at 7:00pm on Wednesdays and every Sunday afternoon for adult Bible study at 1:30pm in Ferndown, Dorset, followed by an all age preaching service at 2:30pm.

Bath, Somerset

We open Sunday mornings for all age preaching service at 10am in Bath.

You will be fed with so much Bible! Our Bible studies will be tremendously thorough and easily understandable, covering theological basics and verse-by-verse commentaries. The King James Bible will be preached.  We sing classic hymns from the 'Great Hymns of the Faith' hymnal.

What we do

Evangelise the lost, in obedience to the great commission found in Mark 16:15, by street preaching, distributing gospel leaflets, and door-to-door visitation.

Edify the saints, by 'rightly dividing the word of truth', according to 2 Timothy 2:15 - teaching Bible doctrine from a dispensational perspective.

Glorify the Saviour, according to 1 Corinthians 6:20, with our life as a witness to the wonderful grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Pastor, Pete Dickens

I was born again on the 18th of April 1982. It was a Sunday morning and the Lord had been dealing with me about being saved for several months. I had just turned 17 and knew that I was lost and on my way to hell for my sin. I did not have to be convinced I was a sinner. I was convinced and knew I was. At the end of the service I told Pastor Johnson that I needed to be saved and he asked the youth leader to show me how to be saved. I told the Lord that I believed He died for me and was buried and rose again the third day to take away my sins. I said I knew for my sins I deserved hell and did not want to go. I asked the Lord to forgive me of my sin and to come into my heart and be my Saviour. He did. By His amazing grace He has kept me saved for 39 years. “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us.” Titus 3:5. Amen!  Thanks for reading, Pastor Dickens
